The carrier came with two collars, and pauldrons that accept shoulder and side panels. It's very modular and comfortable.

I bought this jacket with the plan to pass it down to my son.

The build quality and comfort of this jacket is going to allow me to do just that, while I enjoy it the entire way there. The elastic feels so good just the right amount of hold. Dont even get me started on how good the inner lining feels. The green and brown combo looks so damn perfect. AP and McGrath have knocked it out of the park once again. Every dollar was worth each and every American sourced and sewn thread. My wife loves how i look in this thing! God bless AP 🗿🗿🗿🗿

They definitely don't make them like this anymore! Fantastically warm and has great heft. Even came complete with a pocketfull of Bulgarian soil lol. I will definitely have to have it dry cleaned and the wrinkles removed. For those wondering I also got one with the red accents. I love that when buttoned up it wraps around your torso as it goes down for maximum warmth, and with the split coat tails I should have no problem with mobility. For those also wondering about the internal button/clasp style there are the obvious buttons down the middle, although there are also small metal slide clasps on the collar, the top of the outer flap, and about mid way down the buttons to give it some overlap on the buttoning and keep it clean looking.

Man, hard to believe that people haven't been scooping these up! They feel fantastic, they fit perfectly, and do I even need to talk abou tthe number of pockets?
The insiding facing material feels soft to the touch and is fantastically comfortable, and I'm looking forward to putting it to it's paces outdoors.
I think we were up to 12 pockets last we counted but I feel like we missed a few. Plus, even at the full price of $60.00 (full disclosure, I paid the $30.00 sale price) it feels like an excellent deal for a sweet piece of kit.

In good shape, standard green. Two sides have draw strings. Apparently, these were in long term storage and had that surplus/storage smell. After 3 washings, soaking and hanging outside for a few days and another wash. They are getting a final airing out in the garage. Thell also got into the French pants that required the same treatment. Quality made and multi use.

Nice pants in good shape, pattern bright and clear. I order up in waist size, as the French pants see to be high waisted. 40 waist fits my 36 waist well. Slotted buttons with the exception of the fly (?) Only negative is the hip pockets are small. Had a terrible surplus smell, from the British net that was in the same box. I'd buy a second pair, except for the small pockets.

Unissued military surplus, like new. I finally completed the helmet I bought twenty five years ago. As advertised and great service.
