It is pretty cool and a great collectible. You should buy it if you think it’s cool as well.
The velcro strap it comes with is cringe but the fit is very comfy. Goes great with the cover if you have the camo. Tried to fit fake comtacs on underneath but my head is average sized and not micro like the slovenians (despite being 3 generations from slovenian migrants) so it was incredibly tight. Goes hard in airsoft.
Amazing quality would buy again if I didn't already have one had a little bit of sticker sticky stuff on the front but oh well
Issued Slovenian VePlas-2 Helmet
The VePlas-2 was adopted immediately after the Slovenian War of Independence and served until recently when replaced by more modern bump and ballistic helmets.
"Kevlar like" helmets have become increasingly harder to find in bulk as the War in Ukraine has diverted most of the supply.
These are sold for costume use only.
