Issued Swiss Ord. 1949 Wool Field Jacket

Look similar to the Sweden M39-58 Field Jacket, but construction is better as expect from Switzerland. Good fit and have enough room for layers - size small. I wonder if AP can get the white version. Dry clean right after receiving is recommended, these things has been made over 50+ years.

Fits small and boxy with little extra fabric to stretch as you move. Order a size larger than you think, especially if you plan to wear this as an outer layer over another shirt. I like the addition of shoulder pads to make it more comfortable when carrying a backpack.

Fit is a little snug. But the quality is all Swiss. Very nice jacket

Ordered the wrong size by mistake, submitted a return request and got a refund in a very timely manner.

Doesn't look issued to me! Makes sense though sense given the country of origin. Probably owned by an autistic Swiss guy who spent 10 hours a day maintaining his stuff. Medium fits 160 lbs 5'10" perfectly. Has little metal hooks to hold up a belt!
