Issued French Raid Pants

These pants are a very nice addtion to any niche clothing lovers closet. The pants are made from a very pleasant material that isn't abrasive on the skin, is very breathable, and fits very comfortably at the waist. My time with the pants was limted, as I had only a days worth of wear out of them as it had a inch or so tear on the back left thigh, so I'm getting another pair. But in that time, the things about the pants i've learned is:

The snap-caps are not gut freindly, as if you're a mesomorphic build person but not particulary in shape (i.e slight beer belly). the caps may come undone. Using a belt helps keepig it from coming undone.

The pants do seem to run just a smidge longer, as I ordered a 40 Regular and unlike most pants, the pants legs tend to go under my feet unless wearing boots or loafers. I know it says Regular is 30-32L

The upper frontal area is not at all restrictive. As the title of my review says, I geuinely think the French may have took some pointers from the Austrians KAZ 03s on the design, as I feel like it's almost a 1:1 copy, but with adjustable ankles and in navy blue. So if you own a pair of KAZ's, then if you know, ya know.

Overall, it's a good pair of pants to have. AP doesn't have it in stock anymore, but this does complement the Dutch Deck Jacket nicely.

The fitment is great,they are bit worn in, but definitely still usable. Will definitely be buying more from americana pipe dream in the future.

These paints are really comfortable. I was lucky to get a pair that were unused as well. Nice surprise. I have spend a lot of money on the site already!!! I cant stop. Great stuff!

Best hiking pants I've used. I know it's not meant for hiking, but given how comfortable and baggy it is, I thought I'd give it a shot. The French knew what they were doing when they made these pants. Money well spent.
